Manchester United have made a final bid of £39million for Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal, according to Tuttosport.
The Chile international has been heavily linked to United throughout the summer and it appears the Premier League giants have now submitted a take it or leave offer for the 27-year-old.
Serie A champions Juve have no desire to sell Vidal, who has been a key component of their side since joining in 2011.
However, the player's ambitions may yet allow the deal to take place, with Vidal eager to join up with new United boss Louis van Gaal.
If Vidal were to head to United he would be the club's second midfield signing of the summer, after they paid £29m for Athletic Bilbao's Ander Herrera.
