Jose Mourinho has confirmed he wants to bring Didier Drogba back to Chelsea - because he believes the striker can still terrify Premier League defences, writes Martin Lipton in Klagenfurt, Austria.
The Blues hope to seal the 36-year-old Ivorian's return on a 12-month deal within the next 48 hours.
And, speaking publicly about re-signing Drogba for the first time, boss Mourinho explained just why he is willing to go back to forge the west Londoners' future.
Mourinho said: "We want to win matches and win titles and Didier is one of the best strikers in Europe. He is still very adapted to the needs of the Premier League and we are thinking about it in a non-emotional way.
